Exchange Policy

Return Policy 

Due to the nature of our products, for sanitary reasons and manufacturers policies:
There are no returns, exchanges or refunds. All sales are final. 

* Exchanges will be accepted if you receive an incorrect item. See below.

Returned packages: 
If your shipment is returned to us due to a bad address, refused upon delivery, returned or unclaimed; there will be a 50% cancellation fee charged. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable. The balance will be refunded to your credit card.

No unauthorized returns accepted: 
Exchanges or returns will not be accepted unless authorized by Umoja. Packages returned without authorization and RMA #: will be refused or returned at customer’s expense.

Incorrect item:
If you received an incorrect item and it is unused and still in its original condition (unopened, unaltered, unworn, undamaged, unbrushed, unwashed, no smoke or perfume smells, with tags on) you must e-mail us to make an exchange request within 2 days from the date you receive your order. If this claim is authorized you will be issued an RMA# and return address to put on the outside of your return package otherwise it will be refused. 

An incorrect item is not getting what is on the order. This does not apply to customer ordering errors or wanting something different after an order is placed.

Incorrect items are subject to inspection and require approval before is it replaced.  If approved the same item will be shipped in exchange. If the merchandise does not meet the above criteria and is unsuitable for restock, it will be held for 5 days pending the customers’ payment of shipping charges to return the item. If the customer does not pay to reship the item will be discarded. No credit will be issued for any merchandise that cannot be restocked.

Cancellation Policy | 

Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once placed due to the automatic processing system. Please carefully check your order before submitting.

Customers who cancel due to back order are exempt from this.

If an order is cancelled after placing it or the shipment is returned for any reason a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. 

Unusual transactions flagged during the authorization process may be required to establish an account with Umoja. Account set up includes faxing a cardholder signature on a sales slip and copy of the cardholder’s valid NZ. Driver’s license. If an order is cancelled because a customer refuses to set up an account a 20% cancellation fee will incur. 

Discreet Shipping
All orders shipped from Umoja.co.nz. Will not mention the word "wigs" anywhere on the outside of the shipping package. Your shipment will be delivered discreet usually in a generic brown cardboard box and the shipping label will state: UMOJA. 

Personal Information
All your personal information is kept private. All information is used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling your order and making your buying experience a success. Strict guidelines are adhered in order to keep your personal information private. Periodically Umoja.co.nz may run an inventory special. These specials are exclusive to our website and are sent as electronic notices. At any time you may unsubscribe to our notices by sending an unsubscribe email to sales@umoja.co.nz

Online Order
We use a secure server for your privacy and security. Online payment using the above mentioned credit cards could be made in the following way:

* You will be asked to fill out information. 
* Your name (to make sure no one is fraudulently using your card) 

* Your billing address (to make sure you are authorized to use the card)
* Your telephone number (so we can reach you for further information) 

* Your email (so we can send order confirmations to you) 
* Your credit card type, number and expiration date.

Shipping Information
Please note: If shipping address differs from billing address the company reserves the right to send orders to the billing if the shipping address cannot be verified.

Order Processing
Your order will be processed within 3-10 business days of you place your order. Most orders are placed with the manufacturer upon processing your order, some are from our warehouse.

Contingent on manufacturer availability, your order will be shipped within 3-10 business days of your order being processed and placed with the manufacturer. At such time your item(s) will be either Courier Post or Fastway Couriers shipped depending on your chosen method of shipping on your order form. 

Please Note: Incorrect billing information and/or shipping to an alternate address may cause shipping delays, as these orders must be verified.

Tracking your Order
We send a shipping confirmation e-mail after we or manufacturer ship the item(s). Please call our office 09 414-4466 or e-mail us sales@umoja.co.nz  if you do not receive the confirmation e-mail.
